Stained Glass

Goethe once compared stained glass to Truth.

On the outside, stained glass doesn't appear all that inviting. You only see a sort of blob from the sidewalk. However, upon entering the Cathedral, you are struck by the marvelous beauty of the stained glass.

And so it is with the Catholic Church, the container of Truth! From outside of the Church, things may not be all that appealing and you may not even understand. But once you are inside and start to study the history and begin to realize what it actually is, you can't help but be overwhelmed by the inexhaustible depth and beauty of Holy Mother Church.

If you are not a Catholic, I invite you to come and see. The Church is here with open arms waiting to show you its richness and exquisite wonder! All you have to do is come and explore.

And if you are already in the Church and yet are merely going day to day in a kind of trance, I invite you to explore the wonders of the Catholic Church. You may know what certain doctrines say, but do you understand why they are doctrines of the Church? Do you realize that God has blessed the Church with so much, solely based on His Divine Love for us? Behind every doctrine of the Catholic Church, the essence is God's grace imparted on us because of His Love.

Don't look at the Church from the outside, where the view is distorted. Come inside and see her radiance and magnificence!
