An Email From My Wife

So get this:
Today is "Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day." This program was started as "Take Your Daughters to Work Day" by the Ms. Foundation for Women (www.ms.foundation.org), but they eventually had to be equal and include the boys. This seems like a good enough program- encourage youth to explore different job opportunities (much more enticing if the parent has an exciting job...). Want to know what else the Ms. Foundation supports? Oh yes, reproductive "rights," namely, the Pro-Choice(Abortion) movement. Three of their "accomplishments" are:

-distributing over $6 million in the last decade to pro-choice organizations
in the U.S. and Puerto Rico;

-bringing new and diverse voices to the forefront of reproductive rights
work;

-supporting and growing pro-choice organizations through technical
assistance, networking and training to strengthen the reproductive rights
movement.

So, assuming you didn't use their help to get an abortion, you may be able to take your daughter or son to work with you. Ah, I love it.

Thought you might enjoy the irony.
